Continuous Metric Sample Size Calculator


Objective: This tab is used for calculating the minimum sample size needed to conduct an A/B test with a continuous metric. A continuous metric is defined by a continuous random variable, for example, revenue amount, order amount, and amount of time to checkout.

To measure the treatment effect of a continuous metric, compare the means of the continuous random variable between a control group and a treatment group.

Examples: Some common continuous metrics are average dollar amount of order and total revenue per user.
